Christian, give this place a two thumbs up. He liked everything about it except the water inside the cave.
The illusion of deeper water was unsettling to him.
He did love the light show!
We entered the cave at a discounted price due to the school field trip. Most of the outdoor attractions were closed, but the cafe, cafe, and gift shop were open. The river was steadily flowing, and spring beginning to bloom added a nice effect to our day and lunchtime with the classroom.
Parking is free with picnic areas to use next to the river. Camping or enjoying the motel gives you access to the river and amenities for as long as you would like to stay. Jessie James wax museum is an added expense and attraction but fun and interesting for all ages. You can enjoy panning for gold, zip-lining, riverboat rides, and canoe rides- all for an additional price. Cave Rates $22.00 – Adults $12.00 – Children ages 5-11 Children 4 and under are free
