Last summer was hard but fun. I did a lot of traveling and saw new parts of the country I had not seen before. Some things I did were boring, and some were a lot of fun. Riding in the car was not fun; however, I did get to stop a lot of places on the way. We also scheduled stops for attractions.

We are planning this summer’s trip (s), and I was thinking about all we did last year.

Some things we did were very fun, but some were not as much fun. Cleaning the yard and planting flowers for my mother was not so much fun, but the two hearts with her tulips and lilies are very nice! My dad got married, and that was fun.

I got hacked on my YouTube, and that was not good. We are on a new channel, and my nana will ‘promote’ it with a blast soon. I think she is trying to get all the videos up and start the blog for information on our travels before she puts it up.

We went to Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the diamond dig. I will upload a video for you to watch. I went because my stepbrothers went on vacation with their father, and it is only fair I get to go somewhere too.

I did not find diamonds, but I did find some gems and had a great time digging in the dirt. I had special tools for the dig, and we borrowed some shelves from the hotel we stayed at. They let us use them. I did push hard in the dirt and broke one, but the hotel guy said it was okay because another customer had left one in one of the rooms. The hotel was not good and did not have a swimming pool, but the visit was good.

I did get to go to two different arcades and try the go-karts and high ropes, laser tag, and boat racing. I also met some new friends with whom we exchanged emails. I ate at Dunkin’ Donuts and watched Peter Rabbit 2. I guess the best thing to do in Hot Springs was to go to the springs, and we did that. We saw the bathhouses and walked around. Did you know the water is really HOT! In one place, the water was cold, so it could not have come from the springs. I did take the trolley ride, and we stopped to get water in the little water buckets. I am afraid of heights, but we did go up in the tower and see all of Hot Springs. That was amazing. Duke did not like Hot Springs very much because he was hot… hahaha
