Kid from Missouri travels

I really wanted to go to the family reunion this year. Nana was like, maybe we shouldn’t go because we just sold a house and we didn’t have any place to live. I loved this drive and all the places we stayed. I will put a video in the travel part but I do have a few pictures below.

We decided to go to the family reunion because I wanted to see my aunts and uncles again and see if everyone was all right and doing well. We took a long trip and went to Niagara Falls, Upstate NY, and New Hampture, and across to Maine. The ocean was beautiful, but so much colder than it was in Mississippi or Santa Monica CA.

I was able to meet my Nana’s friend from high school, and we had a picnic at Bear Beach. The family reunion was cut short because a storm was coming in, and the Forest Ranger had us pack up before it hit. We did get to see everyone for a few hours.

On our trip to the family reunion, my Nana broke her foot in New York City, and she messed up the reservations for our Maine cabin but we ended up with a much place to stay in Eagle Mountian in the White Mountians NH. I loved that George Washington stayed in the same hotel, the Gulf Resort. My Nana said: Well, they could have updated a bit. We loved the food in the hotel restaurant.

We also went rock climbing and saw a waterfall, we fished in very, very cold water, but that water helped my Nana’s foot. I did not catch anything, but it was so fun! We did not know about this place, but the forest ranger told us where to go to find his hidden spot.

A place where George Washington stayed in New Hampshire and the White Mountains, or white forest, at Eagle Lodge. It was so amazing my Nana said it needed a lot of upkeep but I love.

We were able to go fishing and hiking and there was a golf course but I didn’t bring my golf clubs really I don’t play golf. But if you ever get a chance to go to Maine, you will love it. This place is almost as nice as Colorado.
