Kid from Missouri travels

My dream was to be in the JROTC I could see myself doing that when I’d sit by my Nana’s house and watch them go past with the parade in their uniforms and flags and I would say nana I want to do that.

I never thought I would be able to because I struggled with school so much but when I went back in the 9th grade I realized I was stronger than I thought I was and I was able to even go to the raiders the elite team for the Air Force. I would go to their championships. I’m adding the pictures of their the championships and we won our team won four medals.

This was something I never thought I could do especially with sensory processing and my balance and strength but I realized with all my work on OT I was just doing it in a different way. I hope you can see that all the pushing and climbing and carrying are all things I did when i was in OT and on our travels.  I thought I would never get  into JROTC because school was so hard and I was in so much trouble all the time but my Nana said never get up give up God  knows the end from the beginning.

I didn’t know what that meant but I’m glad I didn’t give up.
